The 100th Emmanuel Fair Country Fair!
Saturday, September 16th, 2006

Emmanuel Church’s 100^th Annual Country Fair will be held on Sept. 16^th, rain or shine, at 285 Lyons Plain Road in Weston.  In a tradition that proudly emphasizes “home-grown” and “country”, the event will feature hayrides, games, face painting, a country kitchen, quilt show, holiday crafts and handmade crafts, plants, a good-goods flea market, collectibles, jewelry, books, a chocolate chip cookie contest and much, much more.

10:00 AM         Fair Opens

                        Bruce Hazard’s Shadetree Band Plays All Day

                        Horseshoe Pit Opens - AM Contest

10:15 AM         The 15th Annual Best Chocolate Chip Cookie

                        In Connecticut Contest - Entries until 10:45 AM 

10:30 AM         Bubble Gum Bubble Blowing – AM Contest

11:00 AM         Hoop Rolling Races (kids only)

                        Judging Cookie Contest

                        Cake Walk – Barbie at the Fair Cake

11:20 AM         Sack Race (kids only)

11:30 AM         Underground Railroad Quilt Lecture
